Keturah and I met briefly at a writing conference in 2017; since then we’ve interacted and grown closer online as we’ve both traversed our individual journeys. Keturah has so many interesting thoughts about clothing and writes about the subject frequently—if you appreciate people who put deep thought into even the most mundane aspects of life and aren’t afraid to live according to their convictions, you should definitely subscribe to her. When I had the idea to start experimenting with video format to chat with interesting people about interesting topics, I knew I wanted her to be the first, and I was so excited when she agreed to it!
So here is our rambly discussion, exploring some of our own and each other’s thoughts on the philosophy of dress. This topic won’t be riveting for everyone, and that’s perfectly alright, but if you’re interested in exploring different approaches to something most of us take for granted or engage with unconsciously, you’re welcome to listen in on our chat and we’d love to hear any thoughts you’d like to add in the comments. Bear with us—we both forgot we had planned this until like an hour before and were both busy with our children and household matters, my tech skills are sub-par at best, and I am woefully out of practice speaking publicly and being on camera; hopefully I get the chance to do this more and improve my skills in the future.
